Claymore Consulting was founded in March 2002 by Greg Trew after a lengthy and successful career as a trade union negotiator and trouble-shooter. A firm belief in principled, aggressive and creative advocacy led to the establishment of a consulting practice dedicated to assisting clients to achieve their objectives.

Claymore Consulting seeks to provide clients with effective advice on a wide range of human resource issues, whether in a unionized context or not. Innovative, sensible compromises are always considered. However, should they prove unavailable, our advice will always be designed to protect the interests of our clients and achieve their goals in a timely, cost-effective manner.

At Claymore Consulting, we want to earn the confidence and trust of our clients and express mutual respect through long-term relationships. We want to be partners in your success.

Greg Trew is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) with 40 years of labour relations experience, first as a lead negotiator and senior staff representative of a major North American trade union and, since 2002, as a management consultant and President of Claymore Consulting, specializing in strategic human resource planning and collective bargaining for employer-side clients.

Greg is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and an experienced adult educator, presenter and problem solver whose expertise encompasses the public and private sectors. Claymore Consulting provides its clients results-oriented advice and assistance with a wide range of labour and employee relations matters.
